Standardisation of T&Cs in Scotland

The FRSA is pleased to be able to finally, after years of negotiations with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, provide our members in Scotland, with the final proposal to standardise the terms and conditions for RDS employees in Scotland. 

Since the amalgamation of the eight Scottish fire and rescue services in 2013, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has continued to operate with eight sets of terms and conditions for its RDS employees. This proposal, if agreed by members, will finally provide one set of particulars for all of its RDS staff. 

The FRSA is recommending acceptance of the proposal (which is available to read below) and will be balloting our members between 07 and 28 November 2024. 

Scottish members will need to download the FRSA App to take part in the ballot.
