The government has now produced a ‘live’ version of the Retained Firefighters’ Pension Settlement Calculator, for all eligible members to use and gauge what level of contribution would be required, should they wish to buy-back service under the Modified Scheme.
To help members understand what information is required and how the calculator works, there is also a user manual available.
Please note that the version of the calculator will be updated each month to ensure that the figures produced are as accurate as possible.
