The FRSA would like to congratulate those who have been recognised for their contribution within the Queen’s New Years Honours. Their families and close friends should be very proud that the hard work and commitment to public safety has been recognised and rewarded by these honours.

Michael Humphries, Watch Manager, Daventry Fire Station.  For services to the Fire Service and the community in Daventry, Northamptonshire.

Andrew Parkin, Firefighter, Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service. For services to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, and to Mental Health.

Hamish Thompson, Technical Services Officer, Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service. For services to Firefighter Safety.

MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire)
