Following the recent local elections, we can confirm that the new Welsh Fire Cabinet Secretary is Carl Sargeant AM.

Carl Sargeant was born in St. Asaph, North Wales. He is married, has two children and has lived in Connah’s Quay all his life.

Previously employed by a leading manufacturing company in North Wales he has trained as a Quality and Environmental Auditor and also as an industrial fire-fighter.

The RFU look forward to working with the new Secretary and congratulate him on his appointment.
