Following the conclusion of the three pilot inspections carried out by HMICFRS within Suffolk, Staffordshire and West Yorkshire, the inspectorate has published their ‘Learning Report’.
The report sets out what the inspectorate has learned from the three pilot inspections carried out between March and May 2018. It also includes learning aspects from the public and sector consultations that were run on the inspection programme and framework, methodology and judgment criteria respectively. The report explains how HMICFRS has subsequently adapted their approach to take account of their learning, and feedback from services.
