Labour councillors on Gloucestershire County Council have ‘called-in’ the decision to close Painswick Fire Station, this means that the decision will be considered by the Scrutiny Management Committee next week (15 February).

The councillors have taken this decision due to the RFU’s submission which challenges the call out figures used for Painswick. The call-in notice can be seen here.

Amazingly the FBU is claiming the credit for this latest development via their website.
