The most recent annual CFOA RDS Conference took place on 03-04 March in Grantham, Lincolnshire.
The RFU was asked to give a presentation at the conference on the subject of our Recruitment and Retention Survey that we undertook back in the summer of 2014.
Other speakers included, Adrian Thomas (who undertook a review of national terms and conditions), representatives from South Wales, Cambridgeshire, Army Reserve, Cheshire, Chief Fire & Rescue Adviser and the FBU.
Overall the conference was extremely positive and we very much hope that the sentiments of the attendees will be reflected by innovative practices over the coming months.
